Since 2002, Matthew has been an Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in shoulder and knee.
Throughout his career, Matthew has maintained an interest in orthopaedic research, and his work has been presented and published both nationally and internationally.
Matthew’s practice now encompasses all facets of knee and shoulder surgery, with a particular interest in the management of shoulder dislocations, rotator cuff repair surgery, and robotic-assisted Knee Replacement surgery.

Matthew consults from the suites within Top to Toe Health on alternating Tuesday afternoons and Wednesday mornings.
Dr Karim Kantar is an Orthopaedic Spine Surgeon who cares for adults and children with spine problems. He helps people with back pain, neck pain, sciatica, slipped discs, scoliosis, and other conditions affecting the spine.
Training and Experience
Dr Kantar completed specialist training in Orthopaedic Surgery before undertaking further training in spine surgery in Australia and Canada.
