What is involved in the Type 2 Diabetes Program?

The program runs over 8 sessions spread over about 4 weeks. The sessions include 4 group education sessions and 4 group exercise sessions. Each session runs for 1 hour and is hosted by our own Dietician and Exercise Therapists.

What do they teach?

In the group education sessions they teach interesting topics which include label reading, case studies, and strategies to help with your Type 2 Diabetes for example. In the group exercise sessions you will be working in our exercise studio using gentle weights, exercise bikes, and Clinical Pilates equipment for example.

What is the cost?

The program is largely funded by Medicare. The out of pocket costs once you have claimed your rebate are minimal. See Professional Fees tab.

How many people are in the group?

The group is kept to relatively small numbers so we can offer you a more interactive experience.
